AEDEAN has 1,181 members in 2011.
It welcomes professors and lecturers, but also assistants, part-time teachers, and doctoral students, become members of your association.
The associations has some members from other parts of the world.
The current Chairperson of the association is Dr.

Universidad (Full time lecturer), University of Santiago de Compostela.
AEDEAN holds annual conferences.
The association circuates a newsletter entitled Nexus, which is issued twice a
year, in March and in October. The latest issues are available online
on AEDEAN's website.
It also has an electronic distribution list, to which about 700 members
are subscribers; constant and updated information about publications,
journals,
conferences, calls for papers, as well as other professional issues,
are
distributed daily through this electronic list.
A directory of members, with updated information about areas of
specialization
and other professional details, was published in 2001.
AEDEAN publishes a journal entitled Atlantis: one issue in June, the
other in December. In 2002 a collection of articles from volume 1
(1979) to volume 23 (2001) was issued on CD-Rom. The whole collection
