Apart from professors and lecturers, it welcomes assistants, part-time teachers, and doctoral students.
The current Chairperson of the association is Dr Efterpi (Evi) Mitsi, National
and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
HASE holds biennial conferences.
It circulates a newsletter ("HASE News") at irregular intervals.
It publishes the proceedings of its biennial conferences.
